Fans of the Ultraman series and fine vinyl toys (a surprisingly close Venn diagram) were first introduced to Seismic Toys, and their Ultraman Vinyl Odyssey vinyl figure line, back in 2021 with the release of the first entry in the line, the Frilled Monster Jirahs. Gorgeous in a transparent electric blue and gold color scheme, Jirahs sold out quickly, and fans have been ravenous for the sequel to this monster movie. Fear not, figureheads, for Seismic has heard your call, and has released the second figure in the line, everyone’s favorite robot SEVENGER!
Based on the spunky robot’s appearance in the award-winning series Ultraman Z, Sevenger stands at an ultra-sized 9 inches tall, and is clad in a transparent red and silver colorway, in honor of the original Ultraman himself! Every detail of the Sevenger Suit’s body has been meticulously reproduced, save for the STORAGE pilot inside (though we can’t be TOTALLY sure that there isn’t one in there…)
What Seismic has guaranteed is plenty, though, as Sevenger comes with a veritable bevy of extras! For fans who remember exactly how expressive the beloved Special Aircraft robot is, an extra pair of eyes to re-enact Sevenger’s trademark “sad face,” as well as a trading card showing off the cool header art created for this release, as well as some facts about Sevenger are all included in the package. Finally, as befitting a Bullmark-style vinyl toy, the release comes with a header card, numbered out of 250!
