New York Comic Con is about to begin, and one of the most hyped events of all four days is the special, invitation-only screening of international hit Shin Ultraman! Previously watchable only at select film festivals across North America, Tsuburaya Productions and Ultraman Connection are bringing the movie to the AMC 34th Street 14 on Saturday, October 8th, for an exclusive screening to select fans.
If you’re an Ultraman Connection member in the New York area, you may have already been contacted with a special invitation, but if you’re from out of town and visiting the convention, there are a few ways for you to receive your ticket for the cinematic event of the year!
ULTRAMAN CONNECTION: LIVE IN NY
On Thursday, October 6th, at 4:30 PM, Room 408, Ultraman Connection: Live in New York, a special panel featuring the Ultraman Connection Crew, as well as special guests, including Marvel superstars Kyle Higgins and Francesco Manna, will be held. Some fans who participate actively in the panel will be rewarded tickets to the screening!
Plus, if you’ve picked up the S.H. Figuarts Ultraman (The Rise of Ultraman) figure, you can get it signed by Kyle and Francisco! Unlike many panels at NYCC, Ultraman Connection: Live in New York doesn’t require previous reservations, so be sure to come to Room 408 to join in the fun!
ULTRAMAN MEET & GREET
Between 11 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, October 8th, Ultraman characters will be at the Tamashii Nations booth (Booth 2337) to commemorate the ULTRA ARTS figure line, as well as the S.H. Figuarts Ultraman (The Rise of Ultraman) con-exclusive figure! Take pictures with the Giant of Light, and you could have a chance to walk away with a ticket to Shin Ultraman! Supplies of tickets, as well as figures, are limited, so don’t miss out!
ULTRAMAN & MARVEL COMICS
Come by the Marvel Comics Booth (2057) on Saturday, October 8th at 1:30 PM for a special presentation on the upcoming Ultraman/Avengers Crossover! Kyle Higgins and Francesco Manna of the Marvel Ultraman comics, and Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi of the ULTRAMAN manga come together in a big event that promises answers about the future of the Marvel Ultraman line, fun prizes, and your last shot to win tickets to that night’s showing of Shin Ultraman!
